Reverse Engineering

Productivity is a vital aspect of production in every industrial unit. One of the indicators of productivity is the capability of domestic experts and specialists to design and manufacture the necessary equipment and parts. This is especially significant in the industry and mining sector because relying on domestic manufacturing technology will reduce risk and ensure the continuity of mining and industrial units. Chadormalo Mining and Industrial Company has pursued this goal since 2016 with confidence in CPG Pars International Mining and Industrial Company. It has made remarkable progress by utilizing the power of domestic experts. It has eliminated the costs caused by importing parts and the dependence on foreign sources.

In 2010, the localization office was established in Chadormalo, whose main goals are to achieve self-sufficiency, identify the capabilities of domestic companies, create and complete a database in the departments of design, construction, planning, costing, reverse engineering, procurement and implementation, and finally quality control and launch. It also aimed to increase competitiveness and use economic advantages.

Although this company had paid special attention to the localization and internal supply of equipment and parts before the establishment of the localization office, as well as conducting construction engineering, installation and commissioning of development projects, this process gained more momentum with the integration of these activities under the guidance and supervision of an independent unit. After that, Chadormalo relied on the potential of skilled human resources in various fields, designed and prepared detailed plans and workshops using the reverse engineering method, manufactured all parts and machines using existing systems.

In these years, CPG Pars International Mining and Industrial Company has supported domestic manufacturers and carried out programs to supply domestically manufactured parts and spare parts. It has not only reduced stoppages due to wear and tear of imported parts, but also created the conditions for increasing production in the units. It has also improved its iron ore processing.

Reverse engineering process:

  • Reviewing the documentation of parts and equipment and inspecting the conditions of operation and installation of parts.
  • Disassembling of parts.
  • Preparing the model map by software (Solid Works).
  • Preparing the two-dimensional map.
  • Referring the prepared map to other personnel of the mapping unit for re-checking the plot and map.
  • Final review of the plan, coding, material determination, dimensional and geometric tolerance according to the installation and assembly conditions by the head of the reverse engineering unit.
  • Uploading the finalized map to the server for the use of orders and inspection units.
