Main Activity

The company’s main activity is to participate in the construction of wagons and rails and to manage and provide navigation services.

Sub-Activities

The company also does the following things:

• Railway Facilities Projects: It carries out railway facilities projects, such as studying, designing, building, operating, repairing, reconstructing, improving, paving and providing infrastructure for various types of lines, bridges, tunnels, stations and railway infrastructures.
• Railway Engineering Services and Products: It provides railway engineering services and products, such as signaling, safety, signs, communications, track electrification, and maintenance of all kinds of railway machinery and fleet, such as wagons and locomotives.
• Commercial Affairs: It engages in commercial affairs related to the above activities, both domestically and internationally, such as buying and importing various types of railway machinery and fleet, such as wagons and locomotives, and their parts and accessories.
• Rail Cargo and Transportation: It builds sites for loading and unloading rail cargo, and facilities for rail transportation. It performs all tasks related to driving and maneuvering rail vehicles. It rents out all types of railway machinery and fleet, such as wagons and locomotives.
• Human Resources Development: It applies and transfers knowledge to the human resources of companies related to rail transportation.
• Mining and Steel Industry: It establishes mining and industrial factories related to the steel industry from the stage of iron ore extraction to steel production and the creation of relevant units in downstream industries in order to promote and expand mines and mineral industries directly or through investing in companies.
• Other Commercial Activities: It carries out all commercial activities, including buying and selling commercial, service, technical goods, management, import and export transactions, parts, equipment, products, materials related to mines and mining industries, as well as distribution and operations that are somehow related to the above objectives. It participates and invests in other related companies and institutions by buying or pledging the company’s voting shares.
• Mining Operations: It designs and equips and operates mines (except for oil and gas and petrochemical mines) and other related activities such as construction and road construction operations, building facilities and setting up factories and mineral processing industries. It carries out any kind of contracting operations, including consulting, management contracts, providing engineering services inside and outside the country that are related to mines and mineral industries.
• Representation: It obtains and grants representation of reputable domestic and foreign companies.
• Financial Services: It obtains loans and bank facilities in foreign currency and in cash from all domestic and foreign financial and credit institutions. It opens credits and LCs for companies with banks. It clears goods from domestic customs.
• Branches and Agencies: It establishes branches and agencies throughout the country.
• Exhibitions: It sets up booths and participates in all valid domestic, foreign and international exhibitions.
• Contracts: It concludes contracts with all natural and legal persons and participates in all tenders, auctions and contracts, including government, private and international ones. If necessary, it obtains the necessary permits from the relevant authorities.
